Dr. Jin-young Kim received Ph.D degree in the department of Bioengineering from Imperial College London, UK in 2013. Afterwards, he has worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the department of Biosystems Science and Engineering at ETH Zurich from 2013-2015, conducting EU-funded “Body-on-a Chip” Project. He is currently a senior research scientist in DGIST-ETH Microrobotics Research Center (DEMRC) at Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) in South Korea. His research interests include microrobots, microsystems such as lab-on-a-chip, microfluidic devices, biosensors for biomedical applications, and body-on-a chip, 3D cell culture.
